I would hardly call myself a petrol head but did feel that the Rolls-Royce exhibition, which opened yesterday at the Saatchi Gallery, was well worth nipping up the Kings Road for.

Inside Rolls-Royce is the luxury motor’s first ever public exhibition and it certainly doesn't disappoint. As I walked round, I was completely wowed by the engaging, interactive experience as it pays tribute to the passion, creativity and attention to detail behind the super-luxury motor car.

Of all the nine rooms in the exhibition, my favourite had to be the illustration of the in-door umbrella. I had no idea that each and every Rolls has one slotted neatly into the door. Is there anything they haven’t thought of?

The bespoke design and customisation (that of course we adore at Biondi) was displayed by a selection of random items in tubes. Apparently, Rolls-Royce encourages its customers to bring items they love to the table to influence the personalisation of their car.

With a palette of 44,000 paint colours and natural woods from all over the world, the design leaves us all in awe. I walked back to Biondi Couture wondering if we could craft a bespoke bikini to tie in with an engine that beautiful…
