Wimbledon: strawberries and cream, Pimms o’clock, Murray’s Mound and the occasional glimpse of sunshine… yes, that’s how I’d sum up the great British fortnight of tennis. But I have to admit that this year, my current obsession is with the pristine whites sported by the international set on court. Wimbledon Tennis You see, white is not just a colour of summer; it says so much more. I wear white when no other colour will do. Let me introduce you to a couple of my favourites: The Beshlie Dupatta, in white silk cotton, is block printed with gold birds and decorated with charming pompoms. I wear it as a scarf for long haul flights and then live in it all holiday as a beach sarong. For those lunches where a sarong is just not enough, I throw on my white Ondademar Fringe Kaftan.  Its plunging v-neck line looks great over any bikini or one-piece and – for the ultimate in summer laziness – I have been known to add a Marni studded belt and some big hoops to transition into evening cocktails! But I digress because my point here is that, of course, whites look great on a tennis court but they look equally stunning (except a little more effortless) on the beach or sipping some summer wine.  Don’t shy away from the purity and ease of white and while Myleene Klass is rocking her white bikini  - follow the trend, keep your eye on the ball and smash it too!
